Looking Ahead

Well, the pendulum of life just swung me through three days in the funky zone.
What I See
It’s another chill morning on the homestead. The cats are fed, and the morning deer have retreated into the anonymity of the woods. Gray clouds are riding a southerly breeze and reflecting the morning sun.
Good Morning
Outside, a soft cold rain is falling. Morning is coming ever so gently into the room. The sink is full of dishes.
Over the Hills
It’s a wonderful fall morning. The air is clear and cold. There’s a scattering of clouds where the morning sun can play. The day feels filled with promise.
Maybe One Day
On our very first Christmas together my wife and I put up a tiny Christmas tree on her grandmother’s old oak side table.
